Campus Network Design with Arista
Course 3 of 3 in Campus Track
Build resilient, scalable enterprise campus networks
This professional-level course is tailored for senior network engineers and architects responsible for designing and deploying enterprise campus networks using Arista solutions. The course begins by examining the unique requirements of campus networking — including high availability, user mobility, policy enforcement, and integration with wireless infrastructure — and how these differ from data center design principles. Students will explore Arista's campus switching portfolio, understanding the hardware capabilities and EOS feature sets that make Arista switches well-suited for access, distribution, and core layers of a campus network. A significant portion of the course focuses on high availability design, covering MLAG (Multi-chassis Link Aggregation), rapid spanning tree, and BFD (Bidirectional Forwarding Detection) to ensure sub-second failover in the event of a link or device failure.
