The Automation Track is a forward-looking, technically comprehensive learning path designed for network engineers who want to move beyond manual, CLI-driven network operations and develop the automation skills needed to manage Arista networks programmatically at scale. Network automation has shifted from a niche specialization to a core professional competency over the past several years — driven by the growing scale and complexity of modern network environments, the increasing pace of change demanded by agile application teams, and the industry-wide recognition that manual configuration processes are too slow, too error-prone, and too operationally expensive to sustain as networks continue to grow. This track equips students with the conceptual foundations, practical tooling knowledge, and hands-on coding experience needed to design, build, and operate automated network workflows on Arista EOS, transforming the way they interact with their networks and positioning them at the forefront of the modern network engineering profession.
